Dear god people, let it go and give up the vendetta you have against the CW and Dawn Ostroff.
We all know she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, and if it wasn't for Warner sticking up for the show it would have been gone by now.

However; this is where we as a fandom need to take the high road and say thanks to the CW for any type of recognition they give us.

I am talking about Dawn Ostroff praising the show recently at the TCA, this past week.

The apocalypse may have to wait. CW boss Dawn Ostroff says Supernatural creator Eric Kripke is warming to the idea of a sixth season.

“I think he’s in that state of mind,” she says. “I had lunch with Eric the other day and he’s really excited about the show right now. I think he feels this season has been really satisfying for him. He’s certainly not running out of ideas by any stretch of the imagination.”

Ostroff, who says Kripke has been “hitting it out of the park” creatively this season, also points to Supernatural’s ratings success as proof the show has a lot of life left in it. “The ratings are up,” she says. “We have more young women coming to the show than ever before. There aren’t a lot of shows that you can say are doing better in their fifth year.”

You would think the fandom would be pleased and appreciate the fact the woman finally acknowledges us. They have promos showing off our People's Choice Award wins.

Yet to some in this fandom it's still not good enough. I just don't get it, holding a grudge is only going to make the fandom look petty and childish.

We just need to smile and say thanks in the end. After all Dawn and the CW could have ignored us all together. ;)

Ok steps off soap box.

What a shocker. It was a sudden death, of a heart attack while he was taking a walk. He was 59. The writer/director/producer will be remembered for his unique ability to speak to kids, tweens, teens and young adults with movies that became instant pop culture classics with such seminal films like Home Alone, The Breakfast Club, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Though the busy filmmaker's career had gone quiet in recent years, his films shaped the 1980s and 1990s and early 2000s in a way few in Hollywood can claim. He leaves behind a rich legacy.

OMG I am shocked and sad. John Hughes made some of my favorite films of all time.

What was your favorite John Hughes Film?

So it seems as if I have to go Vegetarian afterall; I can't stomach any red meat or any meat period. Every single time I have a hamburger it literally makes me sick to my stomach, when I have lunch meat it makes me sick to my stomach. I thought it was the wheat bread, but I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and I was fine, I ate a piece of lunch meat and felt like I was gonna throw up.

Even chicken is starting to bother me, I had some fried chicken the other night and got a little sick to my stomach. So far fish like Salmon is okay, then again I haven't had that in a while.

So I need to make this life style change, and it's going to be hard, but for health reasons like me getting sick every time I eat meat I get sick and I for one am tired of it. LOL

This is where my lovely F-list comes in, can you all recommend some good decent Vegetarian food? I like Morning Star foods, they have really good Vegetarian fake meat stuff that I enjoy eating. But if there are any others you know of please let me know.

Thanks!

After reading in [info]donna_c_punk Journal, I am going to rant here for a second. I HATE REMAKES!

Okay Hollywood listen up stop remaking 80's movies, good god. Are you that pathetic you need to remake movies that are a little over 20 years old. Did we already run out of ideas, you have to remake good quality classics into cheesy pop drivel?

I am talking about Footloose and Red Dawn, I'm sorry but those were two good quality classics, that should stay dead. Leave them in the 80's...

The original movies had all star casts, that most went on to bigger and better things.

Footloose- Kevin Bacon, Diane Weist (one of my favorite actress) John Lithgow, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lori Singer, Chris Penn..

Remake Cast so far- Chace Crawford- As Ren McCormack, yeah that's gonna go well. Not much better when Zac Efron was originally going to get the part, but dropped out. So we go from bad to worse and some chick from Dancing with the Stars Julianne Hough as if she can act.

Red Dawn- Patrick Swayze, C.Thomas Howell, Lea Thompson, Jennifer Grey, Charlie Sheen, Harry Dean Stanton. Most of these guys went onto better things, notice I said most, because well where has Tommy Howell Been LOL

Red Dawn Remake- Josh Peck, Chris Hemsworth, Adrianne Palicki (nothing against Adrianne Palicki at all, I liked her in FNL and Supernatural) Besides they are changing the premise a bit to fit modern day. I don't like that.

Then you have the CW with 90210 and Melrose place both remakes, that suck beyond sucking. Well 90210 is just plain crap...

What's next a Buffy Remake for TV? Oh wait they are kinda doing that with Vampire Diaries.

I won't pay to go see these movies, I want to remember my 80's classic's.. I want to remember the quality that came from the 80's not the crap, they are going to be now. Hollywood if you ever fucking touch any John Hughes film, the Goonies or Stand By Me, I will come down there and kick your asses. LAY OFF MY 80's MOVIES!

In fact lay off all remakes, go back to being original you are writers right? get to back to being creative, stop remaking older crap thinking people won't remember.

Hollywood is run by FUCKTARDS!

I hope Footloose, Red Dawn, GI Joe all BOMB!

I don't see them remaking Alfred Hitchcock movies? Oh wait, that's because they can't turn them into cheesy movies.

So Sammy decided to get into the closet in our piano room, and climbed to the top shelf knocked the left over Easter basket onto the ground and ate the Plastic Easter Grass. Yes, ate! He was throwing up Easter grass and blood and not eating, so I took him to the emergency vet this morning.

I am waiting to hear back from them as we speak.

*keep your fingers and toes crossed* that it's nothing too serious, and Sammy will be fine!

Nothing like getting sent home early because of a freaking cough. But with this recent out break of the swine flu, they want to be on the safe side. Which I totally understand, still sucks though as I had a lot of work to do.

So now I am home, my Dr. Appt with the new doctor is later today at 2:00pm, so we shall see. I am coughing, chest hurts, sore throat and my body aches. But I think my body aches because of my coughing..

*shrugs*

I know there are some people on my list who are from California, now is the time to stand up to the High taxes we just got hit with. California is now the highest taxed state in the nation, highest in sales tax, car tax, and state income tax.

Here is a run down on the taxes

Gas Tax 63.9 72.0

Sales Tax-

Los Angeles County-8.250 % Now it will be %9.25
While the Norm is -7.25%-%8.25

Sales Tax

Gas Tax

Anti Tax Site

Now the Douchebags in Sacramento have lied about Prop 1A- Basically it's supposed to be about a spending cap, however; if you vote yes; on the prop and it passes you would be stuck paying those taxes for an extra two years. Arnold and company don't want you to know that, why because they want to continue to rape your wallet. So now is the time to stand up and make your voice heard.

Vote No on Prop 1A, get involved send your tea bags to Sacramento.

Prop 1A

List of State Senators

List of State Assembly Members

Send tea bags to the Governor:
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
State Capitol Building
Sacramento, CA 95814

Time to take action, let's get going people, make some noise vote down Prop 1A

John and Ken are planning a big tax revolt, on March 7, 2009, click the following link for more information.

TV Guide is taking questions for Sera Gamble, the writer of Supernatural.

So here is your chance to post a question, and can we please not turn the entire thread into a Dean vs Sam fandom wank. Because honestly I am sick to death of the shit this fandom does.

http://www.tvguide.com/Asks/Supernatural-Burning-Questions-1001713.aspx#BLKcommentCount

If you want to know where Sam is going this season fine, but don't whine and bitch about the lack of Sam or the over exposure of Dean. That's only going to start another fandom war...

I know my F-list is pretty intelligent enough not to do this, but because it's happening at all; it pisses me off.
